Cartographies of Time: A Visual History of the Timeline

February 12, 2012

I love maps. In elementary school I would stare at any lowered wall map. There’s a lot to be learned from maps. Being map-literate can save you from the GPS-failure. But more than that, studying maps can help you understand the context of anything you focus on. Any location is better understood when you become better aware of its surroundings. By connection, time lines are chronological maps. See some examples on this link and a book about timelines.
